A passion for cleaning and community.

Clean Swift Maintenance, Inc. was founded in 1973 as Clean Swift Domestic Service, a successful maid service.  As customers sought more sophisticated services, the company became Clean Swift Maintenance.

Clean Swift has been providing interior and exterior residential and commercial cleaning services to the tri-state area since 1978, and continues to be a family-operated company.

Since 1985, Clean Swift has battled New York City's graffiti with custom-made, environmentally friendly graffiti removal products.

Beginning in the 1990s, Clean Swift started to provide clean-up services for major public events, including the New York City Marathon, the March of Dimes Walk-A-Thon, the March of Dimes Bike-A-Thon, and the Richmondtown Fair.  Clean Swift is a member of the Adopt-A-Highway program and is authorized to provide maintenance services for Adopt-A-Highway locations along the Staten Island Expressway and throughout New York City.

Today, Clean Swift continues to provide exceptional service to its varied customers, from homeowners to large corporations.  Our motto: "No job is too big or too small!"

Alan Poritz is the Founder and CEO of Clean Swift Maintenance.  Alan is active in several community organizations and serves on the Board of Directors at the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island (JCC), and the Staten Island Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (HIC-NARI).  When not working and serving his community, you can find Alan spending time with his family, playing golf, and enjoying the ski slopes of Vermont, where he volunteers as a Ski Ambassador.
